This proposal was created as an entry to the competition to design a replacement for the Anglesea Stand in the RDS, Ballsbridge. The competition provided the office with an opportunity to experiment with a new building typology- a 7,500 capacity grandstand with a range of supporting facilities. The design sought to facilitate the sporting, equestrian and musical events taking place at the RDS. The proposal leant a contemporary, confident expression to the established heritage and character of the RDS.
