This scheme is located on lands subject to the Kilternan and Glenamuck Local Area Plan. This plan envisages a medium to high density cluster of new housing on Glenamuck Road. The proposal combines single family housing with apartments to achieve the required densities. The houses are expressed traditionally, with a classic style complementing the sylvan setting of Glenamuck Road. The proposal sought to preserve as many of the trees on the site as possible, to maintain the mature character of the area.
